The Managing Director of TVC Entertainment Channel and host of the popular talk show Your View, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has weighed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding legendary Nigerian musician, 2Face Idibia and his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.
In a widely circulated video, 2Face openly confirmed his romantic involvement with Honourable Natasha Osawaru and announced his intentions to marry her.
2Face’s revelation came merely two weeks after he publicly declared his separation from Annie.
However, this sparks widespread debate and reactions from both fans and critics.
Addressing the issue on Wednesday’s edition of Your View, Morayo Afolabi-Brown expressed strong reservations about 2Face’s handling of his marital split.
She asserted that he should not be allowed to move on without accountability.
Also, she suggested that his decision may have deeply wounded Annie.
“I believe he should not walk away unscathed after what he has done,” Morayo stated.
“He has, in all likelihood, caused significant damage to this woman. Marriage is not something that should be taken lightly, and society was present when they took their vows. If he now claims he no longer wants to be with Annie, he owes the public—at the very least—an explanation as to when and why his feelings changed.”
Morayo also questioned whether external pressures may have influenced 2Face’s previous commitment to Annie.

Also, she speculated that societal expectations might have played a role in keeping him in the marriage for so long.
“Could it be that societal pressure forced him to remain in a relationship he no longer desired? Or was there another reason for this sudden change of heart? These are questions that need answers,” she added.
