PSG beat Brest 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League play-off on Tuesday, with Dembele scoring twice for Luis Enrique’s side.
The forward is in red-hot goalscoring form currently and has now netted in his last eight matches in a row for the French side.
Dembele now matches a record previously hit by both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe during their spells at the club and can go one better than the two superstars if he can find the back of the net on his next outing for the Ligue 1 side.
Dembele’s goalscoring record in recent years has not made for impressive reading, but it is a different story in the 2024-25 campaign.
The former Barcelona star now has 23 in all competitions for PSG this season and has scored 15 in 2025 alone.
Dembele’s efforts mean he is top of the scoring charts in Ligue 1, three clear from nearest challenger Mason Greenwood, and is comfortably enjoying his best ever season in front of goal.
Dembele is now the only player to score 10 or more goals across Europe’s top five leagues and European competitions in 2025.

PSG are back in action on Sunday in Ligue 1 against Toulouse and then face Brest in their Champions League play-off second leg on Wednesday.
Dembele has already scored seven goals against Brest in all competitions this season and it would be no surprise to see him add to that tally at the Parc des Princes.
