Music video director, Thankgod Omori, popularly known as TG Omori, has addressed the public in response to recent comments made by controversial singer Portable.
Portable had accused Nigerian celebrities of failing to support TG Omori during his health crisis, specifically after his unsuccessful kidney transplant surgery.
Portable also criticised celebrities for their lack of financial contributions to Omori.
He contrasts it with the support they provided to controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky during his legal troubles.
In light of these accusations, TG Omori issued a statement to clear the air.
Also, he emphasised that he has received unwavering support from his colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry long before his health issues became public knowledge.
He reassured the public that Nigerian celebrities have been by his side.
Also, he provides the moral support and prayers he truly needs during this difficult time.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, TG Omori expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of love and support he has received.
He stated, “All I needed was your prayers, moral support, and love, and for this, I am grateful to have gotten in abundance.”
He further urged people to disregard any negative comments or false claims.
