Jesse Lingard sent his support to young darts star, Luke Littler, as the 16-year-old eventually lost Wednesday’s World Darts Championship final.
Former Manchester United star Lingard sent a message of support to 16-year-old British Darts player, Littler, ahead of his contest against Luke Humphries in the World Darts Championship on Wednesday.
The England international shared a photo of Littler on his Instagram story where he wrote, “Making Warrington proud brother. @lukethenukelittler let’s go”.
Another English Darts star, Luke Humphries, defeated the teenager 7-4 in a closely fought contest to win his first-ever World Dart Championship title.
After a memorable run to the final, Littler was aiming to become the youngest ever Darts champion.
Jesse Lingard has been a free agent since Nottingham Forest released him at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Thereafter, he underwent trials with West Ham United and Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq.
However, no offers have been put to him.
Also, the player is currently being linked with a move to Premier League side Everton.
