NYSC: We Are Not Deploying Corpers To Niger Republic

NYSC has clarified that there are no intentions to send corpers to the Niger Republic for military involvement.

Reports of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), intending to send corpers to the Niger Republic had caused a stir on social media.

Some corp members in camp had already set motion in place to run from camp in fear.

Now, the NYSC has clarified that there are no intentions to send corp members to the Niger Republic.

Fabricated Story

In response to a circulating video on social media on such deployment, NYSC’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, released a statement on Saturday in Abuja to debunk the rumours.

“Management wishes to state that there is no iota of truth in the story fabricated by the purveyor, a skit and content creator.

False Information

“The public, especially youth corps members, prospective members and their parents should disregard the story, which borders on criminality in its entirety.
