Training lasts six months or one year, and it depends on the chosen vocational pathway.
Learners spend most of their time in workshops, and they gain hands-on experience daily.
Courses cover ICT, construction, agriculture, automotive, fashion, media, and hospitality sectors.
Graduates earn nationally recognised certificates, and they can access jobs or start businesses.

Meanwhile, officials track attendance using biometric systems across all training centres nationwide.
Only participants who meet requirements receive the monthly ₦22,500 stipend.
Applicants must submit their National Identification Number and Bank Verification Number during registration.
The programme builds on earlier efforts, and it expands the rollout that began in May 2025.
In December 2025, the government released ₦4.7 billion, and it supported trainees and accredited centres.
More than 90,000 applicants submitted entries within one week after the portal opened.
In addition, entrance exam participation increased from 7,547 in 2024 to 30,000 in 2025.

Experienced craftsmen guide trainees, and they strengthen real-world, practical skill development.
Ultimately, TVET Cohort 2 gives many young Nigerians a clearer path to stability and opportunity.
