Nollywood star Toyin Abraham has voiced strong concern over Nigeria’s worsening insecurity.
She condemns both the terrorist attack on a church in Kwara State and the abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi State.

The Kwara church attack in Eruku, Ekiti LGA, where three people were killed and an unspecified number of worshippers abducted during a prayer programme, and the kidnapping of 25 secondary school girls in Kebbi State on Monday, 17 November 2025.
The two events triggered widespread outrage across the country.
Some Nigerians and celebrities criticising President Bola Tinubu’s administration for failing to safeguard lives.
Joining the national outcry, Abraham shared an emotional and lengthy message on her Instagram page.
She questioned how Nigerians could cope with such sorrow, especially after watching distressing footage from the Kwara attack.
Also, she reflected on the pain mothers feel, knowing that 25 young girls who should be safe in school have been taken from their families.
“As mothers, we carry a fear that settles deep within us,” she wrote. “When we hear such news, it is more than a headline — it feels like a wound.”
She lamented how terrorism, extremism, and rising violence are tearing communities apart, altering how people live, worship, and hope.
According to her, the attackers are not merely targeting villages but attacking “the very idea of safety, childhood, and peace.”

Abraham went on to ask profound questions about protecting children in a society where cruelty operates freely and without consequence.
