CAF Statement

CAF disclosed the development in a statement on its official website on Friday, November 14, 2025, noting that citizens of countries that normally require a visa to enter Morocco will benefit from the new policy.

According to the football body, the e-visas available through the YALLA app will be issued free of charge to fans attending the tournament scheduled for 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

CAF said the initiative comes amid rising worldwide interest in Africa’s biggest football event, as ticket bookings continue to surge.

It added that Fan ID will be mandatory for access to all stadiums and official fan zones.

“CAF supporters can apply for both the Fan ID and e-visa in one place inside the YALLA app, streamlining travel and stadium access,” the statement read.

“The process is designed to ensure a faster, easier, and secure experience for international visitors and local fans.”

To apply, fans must download the YALLA app on Google Play or the App Store, or visit its website, complete the Fan ID form, and, where necessary, submit an e-visa request.

Once approved, fans can then purchase match tickets via CAF’s ticketing platform.

CAF noted that the new measures aim to deliver a seamless and secure experience for spectators across the nine stadiums in six Moroccan host cities.

So far, the organisation has sold 298,000 tickets in the first two phases, with buyers from 33 African countries and 106 nations across the world.

The 2025 AFCON will take place from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
