Actress and film producer Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, has reportedly been remanded in Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court.
This sparks outrage from family members and fans online.

According to reports, Sammy was remanded on Thursday without access to legal representation.
His eldest brother, known on Instagram as @sweezzy1, revealed the development in a series of emotional posts.
This questioned the legality of the action and calling out Senator Ned Nwoko, Regina’s estranged husband.
In his post, he alleged that the magistrate handling the case had suddenly gone missing after bail was filed.
He wrote, “He is currently at Keffi Prison! Dutse Magistrate has suddenly disappeared. Ned, you can pay everybody but not integrity. Everyone please help me ask, what is Sammy’s offence? Sammy said, ‘My lawyers are on their way, I wasn’t given a chance to call anyone.’ Judge said remand him till they can file for his bail. Bail has been filed; magistrate has disappeared. Ned, you might be powerful, but you can’t be bigger than God!”
Also, he shared a video showing Sammy lamenting that he was denied access to his lawyer and family.
“They didn’t allow me to call my lawyer. My family hasn’t seen me since Monday. No one knew where I was taken to,” Sammy said in the footage.
Reports indicate that Sammy West was arrested in Lagos on Monday on the orders of Senator Ned Nwoko, who allegedly arranged for him to be flown to Abuja via private jet.
Reacting to the situation, Regina Daniels took to Instagram to express her distress.
Also, she alleged that her brother’s arrest, along with her sister’s, was a calculated attempt to pressure her into submitting herself for rehabilitation.
Also, this is an accusation she strongly denies.
