Emirates has reached new heights, reporting a record US$3.3 billion profit before tax for this half-year.
Consequently, the airline increased after-tax profits by 13% to $2.9 billion, while revenue climbed 4% to $20.6 billion.

Moreover, Emirates maintains $15.2 billion in cash, which allows the company to expand its fleet, fund operations, and pay dividends.
Emirates Record Profits And Growth
In addition, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum praised strong customer demand and loyalty, which drove Emirates’ record performance.
He emphasised that the Group invests billions in technology, innovation, and employee welfare to enhance services and operational efficiency.
Meanwhile, the workforce grew 3% to nearly 125,000 employees, actively supporting Emirates’ global expansion and daily operations.
Fleet Expansion And Connectivity
Furthermore, Emirates launched flights from Dubai to Danang, Siem Reap, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou, strengthening its international connectivity.
The airline added five new A350 aircraft to its fleet and refurbished 23 planes, increasing Business and Premium Economy capacity.

Additionally, Emirates now serves 61 cities with Premium Economy, while the “Emirates First” lounge offers private, luxurious experiences for top-tier passengers.
Retail expansions and high-profile sports sponsorships enhanced the airline’s global brand, including partnerships with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid Basketball.
Passenger And Cargo Growth
Passenger traffic increased 4% to 27.8 million, with a seat factor of 79.5% across its network.
SkyCargo carried 1.25 million tonnes of freight, and the company deployed three new freighters along with Emirates Courier Express services.
Operating costs grew 4%, with fuel continuing to account for 30% of total expenses.
Finally, the Group accelerated its digital initiatives, actively improving booking systems, lounges, and customer experiences worldwide.
Overall, record profits, fleet growth, innovative products, and global brand expansion cement Emirates’ position as the world’s leading airline.
