Celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest, has shared an emotional reflection on how he was unable to fulfil his late mother’s greatest wish, for him to become a Catholic priest.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the nightlife entrepreneur revealed that his mother had long prayed for the fruit of the womb.

She waited over six years before giving birth to his elder brother, Onyinyechukwu, which means “Gift from God”.
A year later, she gave birth to him after a complicated delivery and named him Chibuike, meaning “God is my strength”.
Chief Priest disclosed that his mother, in her desperation and faith, made a vow to God that her child would serve Him if her prayers for children were answered.
For this reason, she strongly desired that he would dedicate his life to the priesthood.
“Growing up my mom wanted me to be a Catholic priest so bad because she promised God that her child will serve Him while she searched for the fruit of the womb for over 6 years. She had my big brother first & named him Onyinyechukwu (Gift from God). Then one year & some months later she had me out of so much complications so she named me Chibuike (God is my strength),” he wrote.
Despite making efforts to gain admission into the seminary, Cubana Chief Priest said he could not make it.
