For causing the adjournment of the case of the convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore, a federal High Court in Abuja has slammed the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (200,000), against the Federal Government, describing FG’s action as frivolous.

Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu who expressed disappointment over FG’s call for adjournment, postponed the case to Thursday, 14 2020.

She warned that the proceedings would not continue if the prosecution fails to present evidence of the payment of the N200,000 to the defence or come to court with the cash on Thursday.

She condemned the late filing of amended charges and service of same on defence in the open court on Wednesday.
