According to local media, the fire broke out at a residential building in Dubai.
The fire happened in the Al-Ras area, one of the oldest parts of Dubai.
Al-Ras is a popular area for many migrant workers and traders.
The fire reportedly broke out on the fourth floor of the five-storey building, local media reports.
According to the Dubai Civil Defence, it was caused by a lack of compliance with building security and safety requirements.
Fire crews arrived on the scene at 12:41 local time on Saturday.

Furthermore, the defence says it is important that “residential and commercial building owners and residents” fully comply “with security and safety requirements and guidelines.
Compliance with these guidelines would help to avoid accidents and protect people’s lives, the defence says.
Four Indian and three Pakistani nationals were reported to have been part of the dead persons.
So far, no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
