Equities on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) rose by 0.24% at close of trading on Friday, as investors traded 356.01 million shares valued at ₦4.23 billion in 6,569 deals.

The NGX Market capitalisation, grew by ₦85.7 billion from ₦35.79 trillion to ₦35.88 trillion at the close of business today.

The All-Share Index rose by 157.09 basis points to close at 65,558.91, up from 65,401.82 posted by the bourse on Thursday.

Gainers Table

SFS REIT topped the gainers’ list with a ₦7.60 kobo rise in share price to move from ₦76.20 kobo to ₦83.80 kobo per share.

Nascon gained N4.05 to close at ₦44.75 kobo, above its opening price of ₦40.70 kobo per share.

FTN Cocoa’s share price was up by ₦0.18 kobo, moving from ₦1.81 kobo to ₦1.99 kobo per share.

NEM gained ₦0.51 to move from ₦5.15 kobo to ₦5.66 kobo per share.

Redstar Express share value rose by ₦0.26 kobo to end trading at ₦2.89 kobo from ₦2.63 kobo per share.

Losers Table

Prestige topped the losers’ table after shedding 9.43% to drop from ₦0.53 kobo to ₦0.48 kobo per share.

Tantalizer’s share price dropped by 9.38% to end trading at ₦0.29 kobo from ₦0.32 kobo per share.

Omatek lost 9.09% to end trading with ₦0.30 kobo from ₦0.33 kobo per share.

Mutual Benefit lost 8.89% to drop from ₦0.45 kobo to ₦0.41 kobo per share.

Guinea Insurance’s share dropped from ₦0.27 kobo to ₦0.25 kobo per share after losing 7.41% during trading.

Transcorp topped the day’s trading with 76.71 million shares valued at ₦442.05 million.

Fidelity Bank followed with 52.97 million shares worth ₦376.91 million.

Universal Insurance sold 17.83 million shares worth ₦3.67 million.

FCMB traded 16.70 million shares valued at ₦98.79 million, while Dangote Sugar sold 16.54 million shares valued at ₦773.93 million.
