On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Afrobeats superstar Wizkid performed in New York’s famed Madison Square Garden.
Wizkid released his fifth album, On November 11, 2022, “More Love, Less Ego.” He immediately followed it up with a fantastic Apple Music Live performance in which he delighted fans with a selection of the album’s tracks.

The live Apple Music performance gave fans a preview of what to anticipate from the Madison Square show. Fans packed the 20,000-seat venue for the show, dancing to a selection of Wizkid’s best songs from his storied career.
DJ Tunez, Wizkid’s official disc jockey, was present to dazzle fans with a variety of Afrobeats oldies. When Tunez started playing Davido’s “Dami Duro,” everyone in the room put on their flashlights in memory of the megastar, who tragically lost his son.

Wizkid is set to tour North America in 2023 and he will be performing songs from his new album. Fans in the US and Canada will get another chance to catch the Grammy winner in their city.
