After a two-year hiatus from headlining performances in Lagos, Grammy-nominated superstar Wizkid has sparked speculation about a potential return to the stage in December.
The excitement began on November 26, 2024, when Wizkid posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, “Lagos December.”

Fans have taken the cryptic message as a strong indication that the singer might be planning a concert in his home city next month.
This tease follows the release of Wizkid’s sixth studio album and eighth project, Morayo, which has been making waves globally.
The 16-track album, featuring collaborations with Afrobeats star Asake, French artists Tiakola and Anais Cardot, and American singers Jasmine Sullivan and Brent Faiyaz, has already set multiple records.
On Spotify, Morayo achieved the biggest opening day streams for an album by a Nigerian artiste.
While Wizkid has yet to confirm the details of a Lagos concert, his post has fans eagerly anticipating the chance to see him perform live once again.
