Live Hub Entertainment, a Ghanaian entertainment agency apologized to fans for Wizkid’s absence at a show, yesterday.
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun known by his stage name, Wizkid was supposed to perform at a show organized by the agency in Accra, on Saturday.
However, Wizkid did not make an appearance nor did he give a reason for his absence.
The show was scheduled to start by 7 pm but didn’t until 9 pm, leading fans to believe that the artiste was still going to show up.

However, a video circulation on social media showed fans at about 4 am, departing the stadium after a no-show from Wizkid.
The show organizers released a statement to apologize for the singer’s absence, promising to refund ticket payments.
The statement reads, “Wizkid breached his contractual obligation last night. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
“We will issue FULL refunds to all who paid for tickets. Please send your barcode to thelivehubinfo@gmail.com”.
The reason for Wizkid’s absence is unknown, but fans have concluded that it was a result of the fact that the concert was not sold out.
