Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has expressed his reluctance to participate in podcast interviews.
Also, he cited a lack of professionalism among many podcast hosts.
The singer stated that, as a professional in his field, he believes only individuals who are equally skilled and professional in their respective fields are qualified to interview him.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Burna Boy wrote, “I no dey for all those podcast/ringlight level abeg. I be professional for my profession, na only professional for him own profession dey qualified to interview ODG”.
This statement shows his preference for interviews conducted by seasoned and respected media practitioners.
Despite his general aversion to interviews, the singer revealed a willingness to sit down with popular media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
However, he noted that he would consider such an interview an opportunity to address recent events and clarify certain matters.

“Ebuka still dey do all those interview? I no like interview at all but I go like run 1,” Burna Boy added.
