Following the death of Mohbad, music promoter, Sam Larry, made a statement during investigation with the Nigerian police saying he has been out of the country since August 20th.
The music promoter said he does not have a hand in Mohbad’s death as he travelled to Kenya on August 20 to get a young music art for his mother’s annual concert.
However, video evidence is being shared online of his presence in a public gathering on August 26, 2023.
Nigerians seem not to accept his statement, as they claim it is false. He fled the country after the death of Mohbad, they claim.
American-based Nigerian music producer, Samklef who has been following up on Mohbad’s case shared videos which countered the statement made by Sam Larry.

Samklef tagged the Nigerian police asking them to do justice, as everyone is looking up to them for that.
