Speaking in Ibadan on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the ‘Celebrating Jesus 7.0’ concert, Alabi voiced her frustration with the lack of unity and support among both established and emerging artistes.

Addressing her senior colleagues, Alabi urged them to prioritise their legacy and accountability to God over fame and success.

“God will hold us accountable for these things,” she stated. “It’s high time we realise we’re working for the kingdom, not for ourselves or fame.”

The established artistes separate themselves from the newcomers, yet still engage in conflicts among themselves. What example does that set?”

She further noted that younger artistes are already emulating these behaviours, adding, “These children coming up are backstabbing and pretending to like each other. This is getting out of hand, and God will ask us about it.”
