Hollywood Actor Tom Cruise is set to captivate audiences with a daring stunt on the roof of the Stade de France during Sunday’s Paris Olympics closing ceremony, which will mark the handover of the Olympic flag to Los Angeles.
Following the elaborate opening ceremony held along the River Seine, expectations are high for a memorable conclusion to the Games.
The closing ceremony will be a shorter, more traditional event held at France’s national stadium.
Artistic director Thomas Jolly has indicated that the ceremony will blend “wonder” with “dystopia,” hinting at darker themes in contrast to the opening ceremony’s celebratory tone, which attracted a record global audience of over a billion viewers.
Cruise, known for his high-risk stunts and frequent attendance at Olympic events, is expected to provide a dramatic link between Paris and the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
