President Bola Tinubu recently hosted the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, and his sons, Jordan and Joachin, at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos during the festive season.
The gathering, described as warm and engaging, provided an opportunity for camaraderie and reflection on national progress.
Lere Olayinka, Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media, shared details of the visit.
Also, he noted that the president expressed deep appreciation for Wike’s exceptional contributions to the Federal Capital Territory.
“The president commended the minister for his outstanding efforts in driving impactful reforms and addressing critical challenges,” Olayinka said.
President Tinubu highlighted Wike’s effectiveness in spearheading significant changes, particularly in land administration reforms and regulatory enforcement, areas that have historically faced numerous challenges.

Tinubu reaffirmed his confidence in Wike’s leadership, describing him as a “good man” and a “performing minister” during a recent media chat.
The visit also saw the presence of former governors James Ibori of Delta State and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, who accompanied Wike as part of the delegation.
