President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is making some quarters in Nigeria happy with the way he has hit the ground running.
He has signed the ‘Student Loan Bill’ into law.
The President, in a bid to make education affordable to all Nigerian students signed the ‘Student Loan Bill’ into law on Monday.
This was made known to the public by the President’s media team led by Mr Dele Alake, in Abuja.

Furthermore, Alake explained that the new law was a fulfilment of one of the electoral promises of President Tinubu.
“We are happy to announce to you that, President Bola Tinubu signed into law, the Student Loans Bill, you all know what that connotes.
“This is the promise made during the presidential campaign by the then candidate, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that he will bring back the student loans issue to the front burner.
“President Tinubu, has just signed into law the bill. It will allow our indigent students access Federal Government’s loans to fund their educational pursuit,” he said.
According to him, the bill was sponsored by President Tinubu’s, chief of staff, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila
This is one of President Tinubu’s way of achieving the dreams of late M.K.O. Abiola.
People have continued to raise concerns about how this loan would be funded with the dwindling resources.
