Atiku Abubakar is bent on holding President Bola Tinubu by the jugular ahead of the Supreme Court determination of the election petition. He is holding on to Tinubu’s certificate controversy.
Now, new developments are following the release of Presidenet Boloa Tinubu’s certitificates by the Chicago university.
Atiku, a former vice president and presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 election, had requested for Tinubu’s certificate and wanted it made public.
He says he will address a world press conference today, Thursday, October 5.
This was disclosed in a post by the former director of strategic communications of the PDP presidential campaign council, Dele Momodu, on his X handle on Wednesday.
Although Momodu did not disclose the reason for the press conference, it may not be unconnected to the release of the academic records of President Bola Tinubu to the former vice president by the Chicago State University, CSU.

On Monday, the university released at least 32 documents relating to the academic records of Tinubu to the lawyers of Abubakar in compliance with an order from a United States court.
Abubakar had requested Tinubu’s certificate to support his allegation of certificate forgery against the president.
Momodu wrote: “BREAKING: H.E. Atiku Abubakar will host an international press conference tomorrow, 5th Oct 2023.
“It will be streamed on his social media platforms and be covered live by both international and local media networks.”
