The nomination of five people to the office of the president’s media and publicity directorate has been approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Via a statement, the five new appointees appointed are: Fela Durotoye, senior special assistant to the president for national values and social justice; Fredrick Nwabufo, senior special assistant to the president for public engagement; and Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe, senior special assistant to the president for strategic communications.

The other two are Francis Adah Abah, the president’s personal assistant, and Aliyu Audu, the special assistant to the president for public affairs.

The appointment of Akhigbe to the position of Communications Advisor to the President of the ECOWAS Commission was also authorised by President Tinubu.

In their interactions with all members of the public, the President charges all newly appointed employees in the Media and Publicity directorate to observe the greatest standards of decency and decorum.
