Thomas Partey could leave Arsenal this summer as the club plot an overhaul of their midfield.
Partey was a key member of the Gunners squad last season as they mounted a serious Premier League title challenge, making 33 appearances in the top-flight.
However, the Gunners’ plans to strengthen their midfield this summer – amid links with Declan Rice and Romeo Lavia at West Ham and Southampton respectively – could well lead to the Ghana international moving on, with Fabrizio Romano claiming there is a ‘concrete’ chance that he will leave.
Rice, who would cost over £100 million ($128.1 million) to acquire, is thought to be a target for Arsenal.
Southampton prospect Lavia has also been kept an eye on and may come under consideration once the England international leaves.
Partey’s playing time in 2023–2024 may be constrained because Arteta may want to pair them together.

Although Partey’s current deal with the Gunners expires in 2025, and no discussions about an extension have yet taken place.
It is unknown how much he would cost, but Arsenal paid £45 million ($57 million) to get him from Atletico Madrid in 2020.
