Nigerian Afrobeat giants, Davido and Wizkid, recently found themselves in the same London nightclub but notably avoided interacting with each other.
The incident has sparked conversations among fans.
This was captured in videos shared on social media by Afrobeat Podcast host, Adesope Olajide, on X (formerly Twitter).
Olajide posted the clips with the caption:
“Davido and Wizkid currently partying in the same club in London…” The video was shared around 12:37 a.m. on Saturday.
Also, the video shows both superstars in the same venue but maintaining a distance.
According to reports, Davido was already inside the club, relaxing with friends, when Wizkid entered with his entourage.
Despite their close proximity, the two did not exchange any greetings or acknowledge each other.
Witnesses say that moments after Wizkid’s arrival, he left the venue with his crew, while Davido remained and continued enjoying the night.
The frosty interaction between the two global Afrobeat icons has left fans buzzing.
This is so because of their complicated history of rivalry and reconciliation attempts over the years.
