Tems is set to take the stage at the 2025 Roots Picnic, scheduled to hold at The Mann in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia from May 31 June 1.
The five-time Headies winner will be joined by an impressive lineup of artistes including D’Angelo, Lenny Kravitz, and Meek Mill, who will be making his Roots Picnic debut.
This year’s festival holds special significance as it marks the 30th anniversary of The Roots’ sophomore album, “Do You Want More?!!!??!”.
Since its inception in 2007, The Roots Picnic has become a cultural staple, seamlessly blending music, entertainment, and community.
The Roots Picnic is carefully curated by The Roots’ own Questlove and Black Thought.
Over the years, the festival has hosted a diverse range of artistes including Lil Wayne, The Weeknd, Pharrell, Nas, A$AP Rocky, and many more.
Last year’s festival featured standout performances from André 3000, Gunna, Jill Scott, Babyface, and Sexyy Red.
This year’s lineup is just as impressive, featuring GloRilla, Miguel, Kaytranada, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Adam Blackstone, and the Backyard Band, in addition to Tems.
Tems is currently riding high, with six nominations at the 17th Headies.
