Nigerian actor, Olaiya Igwe has been summoned by the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN) over his unclad video.
According to reports from Sunday Scoop, Olaiya Igwe will face a disciplinary committee which will be set up by the association over a video where he was spotted praying naked at the beach for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the coming elections.

This was confirmed by an executive of TAMPAN, Rose Odika who revealed that Olaiya had been summoned to face a disciplinary panel to explain the reasons for his action, but he is yet to show up.
She said:
“He has the right to support whoever he wants to, but we have the moral justification angle. We are looking at the morality behind that advert (video). It is not about who he is supporting. It is about him breaching the code of ethics (of our association and industry.”
However, when Olaiya was contacted he maintained that he was not aware of such move by the association.
He said,
“I don’t know who discussed that with you. I did not hear anything about that. God bless you.”
It would be recalled that Olaiya Igwe left many in shock after he shared a video of himself unclad praying for Bola Tinubu.
In his caption, Olaiya revealed that it is his pleasure to support a candidate who truly reflects our values and highest ideals.
