The ‘Renewed Hope’ promised by President Bola Tinubu appears not to be going well with Nigerians.
Barely three months in power and all indications, according to Nigerians, show that the country only gets worse.
This administration has been filled with series of dramatic events, from protests to massive backlash on social media.
In fact, many Nigerians have started calling for a military coup in the country and Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central lawmaker, is condemning such calls.
Democracy
Sani insisted that Nigeria’s democracy was redeemable.
Earlier, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) insisted that the military was happy and there were no plans for a coup in Nigeria.
It added that the report in circulation was calling on the military to interfere in the democracy of Nigeria.
Refined Democracy
Speaking via his Twitter handle on Monday, Sani urged countrymen advocating, soliciting or inciting a coup in Nigeria to stop.
He argued that the struggle for a just, equitable and more prosperous society could still be won within the context of democracy.
“Our democracy can still be redeemed or refined.
