The Senegalese President, Bassirou Faye, on Thursday, May 16, 2024, paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu in the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Bassirou Faye is the youngest president in Senegalese history.
He secured victory in a delayed presidential election in April, after garnering over 54 per cent of the votes.

44-year-old Bassirou Faye arrived at the Villa’s forecourt at 3:09 p.m. on Thursday.
This marks his first visit to Nigeria since assuming office last month.
As of the time of filing this report, the purpose of his visit remains unknown.
