Surprisingly, high-ranking members of Mr Tinubu’s campaign team have kept mum about the tweet.
UberFacts, a reliable facts-promoting platform tweeted about Nigeria’s President-elect Bola Tinubu’s court case with U.S. authorities.
This case had him forfeit $460,000 gains reportedly gotten from cocaine deals to the American government in 1993.
“In 1993, Bola Ahmed Tinubu surrendered $460,000 to the US government after a Chicago court found the income came from heroin trafficking,” UberFacts shared on Monday.

Tinubu’s campaign members, including Bayo Onanuga, Festus Keyamo, Femi Fani-Kayode, and Dele Alake, who are quick to react to such issues are yet to comment.
However, other supporters of the president-elect are attempting to ridicule and discredit UberFacts.
“@uberfacts is actually @uberlies,” tweeted @KemPatriot, an APC loyalist. “If you have ever relied on @UberFacts for facts, it’s time to unfollow them, they are a pay per post organisation, who post lies for the (sic) highest bidder”.
