Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos state governor has declared Tuesday, August 20, 2024 a public holiday in celebration of a traditional festival, Isese Day.
The governor declared the Tuesday a work-free day for all public servants in the state as part of the activities marking the 2024 Isese Day celebration in Lagos.
However, work would resume in all public offices including courts, across the state on Wednesday, allowing traditional worshippers celebrate their day.
Also, Oyo state governor declared Tuesday work-free in celebration of the same Isese festival.
