Breaking: Workers shutdown NPDC Pump Station in Delta

WORKERS at the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company, NPDC owned Ughelli Pumping Station, UPS in Eruemukohwarien, Ughelli North local government area of Delta State, Monday shutdown the facility over allegation of a six-month salary and bonus backlog.

The workers under the aegis of Urhobo and Isoko Community Workers Welfare Association, UICCWA in OML 30, stormed the station which is being operated by Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited, HEOSL.

iBrandTV gathered that the human and vehicular movement in and out of the facility, have been grounded by the protesters numbering over 200 with a vow to remain put until their demands are met.
