Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has disclosed that it costs N400,000 to treat one Coronavirus (COVID-19), patient in the country.
El-Rufai made this known in an executive committee meeting with traditional rulers chaired by the Sultan of Sokoto Sa’ad Abubakar.
The governor also called on northern traditional rulers not to relent in spearheading the campaigns to avoid the spread of the pandemic in the region.
According to him, “Each COVID-19 patient treatment cost about N400,000, this explains the reason why we need to be cautious of the spread.”
Recall that El-Rufai had in a chat affirmed that the challenges in the treatment of the pandemic make it imperative for people to desist from activities that will promote the spread of the virus in the northern region and the country at large.
