Nigerian music royalty has once again been recognized on the global stage, with superstars Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Asake, Shallipopi and Rema earning nominations at the prestigious 2025 Africa Arts Entertainment Awards.
Rema leads the pack with an impressive five nominations, including Best Intercontinental/Global Album of the Year for his critically acclaimed album “HEIS”, Intercontinental/Global Collaboration of the Year for “Benin Boys” featuring Shallipopi, Intercontinental/Global Song of the Year for “Ozeba”, Continental Male Artiste of the Year, and Intercontinental/Global Performing Artiste of the Year.
Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, and Asake, who are all vying for the coveted Continental Male Artiste of the Year award.
The Africa Arts Entertainment Awards aims to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of music artistes from across the African continent.
The winners will be announced on March 30, 2025, at a glittering ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya.
