Reality TV star Patrick Fakoya popularly known as Rico Swavey passed away in the early hours of Thursday.
Rico Swavey came into the limelight after taking part in Big Brother Naija season 3, he then went on to feature in Africa Magic’s Tinsel.
Co-housemate, Tobi Bakre confirmed the news of his shocking demise on Thursday, a few days after the reality star suffered fatal injuries from a car accident.
“We lost him. But thanks a lot guys. God knows best,” Bakre tweeted announcing Swavey’s death.
Recall that early on Tuesday, Alex Unusual, a fellow housemate in the BBNaija reality tv show had announced that Rico Swavey was in a critical condition and unconscious, after been involved in a fatal accident.
The 29-year-old reality star featured in the 2018 edition of the top reality tv show Big Brother Naija alongside Bakre, Alex, and Cee-C.
He made several TV appearances before tragically passing away, which helped him establish his reputation as a performing artist.
