Fashion-focus non-fungible token (NFT) startup, Fancurve has agreed its first club partnership and will create digital jerseys for fans of Spanish LaLiga team, Real Betis to wear across the metaverse.
The officially licenced collection will be sold exclusively through Fancurve’s platform and the designs will celebrate the Seville-based club’s triumph in the Copa del Rey, as well as the culture and architecture of the Andalusian city.
The kits can be worn on avatars and traded on Fancurve’s own metaverse environment, which has social features and digital environments like locker rooms. However, unlike some other digital collectible environments, the Betis jersey NFTs will also be tradeable on partner metaverse platforms.
