PSG have emerged as favourites to land Joao Neves from Benfica, according to a new report.
Neves has been in demand this summer for multiple clubs after impressing in Portugal with Benfica.
However, as per Fabrizio Romano, PSG have now emerged as the frontrunners for the 19-year-old’s signature.
Romano reports that PSG have made a bid of €70 million (£59m/$75.9m) for the Portuguese midfielder and are also going to include multiple players in the deal with Benfica’s demands currently being much higher.
Renato Sanches could be one of the players included in the transfer.
As per Portuguese outlet A Bola, Neves will sign a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 champions and will earn a reported annual salary of €5 million (£4.2m/$5.4m), with the youngster is expected to become a starter for Luis Enrique’s new-look side.

The Portugal international has not yet started pre-season with Benfica following his Euro 2024 campaign with Portugal.
If PSG strike quickly it is possible that he will start his preseason with the French side.
