The Premier League has confirmed that all 20 of its member clubs have been deemed financially compliant for the 2023-24 season.
This follows the submission of their accounts for the season, which were due by December 31.
The Premier League’s profit and sustainability (PSR) rules dictate that clubs cannot post losses exceeding £105m over a three-year period.
After reviewing the submitted accounts, the Premier League is satisfied that all clubs have adhered to these regulations.
There had been concerns that some clubs, including Leicester City, were at risk of breaching the Premier League’s allowed loss margins.
However, Leicester City avoided a points deduction after successfully appealing a charge in September, which related to the three years leading up to the end of the 2022-23 season.
An independent panel ruled in Leicester City’s favour, stating that the Premier League lacked jurisdiction to punish the club since they had been relegated to the EFL Championship by the end of their accounting period on June 30, 2023.
The matter is still subject to confidential arbitration proceedings, as confirmed in a joint statement by Leicester City and the Premier League on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
