This week has been a very eventful one, with loads of events and happenings, many of which have been heart wrenching for Nigerians.
The dead of a popular Nollywood actor, John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu is still fresh in the minds of Nigerians.
News of his demise for a moment, took the minds of Nigerians away from the hunger in the land, in fact, it also took their minds aways from the insecurity issues the country is facing.
But it seems strange things had just begun.
You see, something that has never happened before happened.
The Gun Factory
An illegal gun factory was discovered in Jos, the capital of Plateau State.
This was announced by the Nigerian Police.
The force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, made this public via a series of tweets early on Thursday.
He mentioned that security operatives found a counterfeit AK-47 and several other locally made firearms at the location.
Fabricated Guns
Adejobi stated that the force was prepared to cooperate with the site operators to ensure safety.
He said: “Some of the fabricating machines recovered at the gun factory in Jos.

“We recovered many well fabricated guns at the site. See how perfect the fabricated AK47 is. It’s unbelievable.
“All these pistols were locally fabricated in the factory in Jos. The guys are talented. We need to work on them, for our good.”
