PENGASSAN members embark on three-day warning strike

Members of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria in the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources (FMPR), have today, embarked on a three-day warning strike.

IbrandTV learnt that the decision was stake at the headquarters of the FMPR in Abuja in protest against the backlog of unpaid salaries for the past three months.

The Association members also questioned the decision of the Federal Government to include its members in the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

Inscriptions such as “IPPIS is a pandemic than COVID-19, the President should act fast,” “IPPIS office, respect your agreement and come for negotiations” among others were written on placards which the protesters wielded.
