Nigerian Afrobeats veterans and megastars P-Square has announced that they intend to drop a new album in 2022.
Peter Okoye AKA Mr. P made the announcement on his Twitter account, explaining that it was a strategic decision for them not to release a new project in 2022 in order to tour and connect with their fans. He also revealed that the first album from their second album will be released in 2023.

P-Square has been one of Africa’s most famous duos for over a decade, with their music gaining them millions of fans worldwide. The twin brothers split up in 2017 to pursue solo careers, effectively ending the multi-award-winning duo.
The brothers reconciled and returned as a duo in 2021, announcing themselves in the December 2021 reunion concert and apologizing to fans for their split.

P-Square released two songs, ‘Jaiye’ and ‘Find Somebody,’ in 2022. They also performed in several countries, including Afronation Portugal and Ghana.
