“We shall meet Adeleke, the PDP and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the Supreme Court.” These were the exact words of Gboyega Oyetola after an Appeal Court in Abuja reinstated Adeleke as Osun Governor.

The desire to still hold power is still high and Oyetola is not happy with the ruling of the Appeal Court over Osun State governorship.
The appellant court on Friday nullified the ruling of the Tribunal which had earlier ruled in favour of the former governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola.
Study Of Judgement
According to the APC, the first thing it will do is to study the judgement of the Appeal Court which ruled in favour of Adeleke.
The party says it will proceed without delay to the next constitutional means of seeking justice at the highest court of the land.
The acting chairman of the APC in the state, Tajudeen Lawal in a statement on Friday charged all members to keep their hopes alive.
He said: “As a law-abiding party which prioritises the Rule of Law, we shall pursue the issue to the Supreme Court with a view to ensuring that justice is served.
“The members and supporters of our party should not despair over the judgement as it’s a mere temporary setback which would be redressed in due course.
We Shall Meet In Court
Angered by the verdict of the court, Oyetola draws another battle line.
“The long and short of my sermon is that we shall meet Adeleke, the PDP and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the Supreme Court.”
Futile Mission
Meanwhile, the Osun chapter of the PDP calls on Oyetola and the Osun APC to bury the hatchet and congratulate Governor Adeleke.
The party released a statement by its caretaker chairman, Akindele Adekunle.
