He has been going about, campaigning for votes in different states.
But the reality is that with each passing day, the ‘Day Of Reckoning’ draws nearer.
As he campaigns and watches the situation in Nigeria, he expresses concern over what may befall Nigeria if he does not emerge winner in the presidential election.
He has surprisingly won the heart and a possible vote of people who believe in his dreams.
He says he could turn the course of Nigeria for the better if he wins the February 25 elections.
Indeed, he has a shot at the seat.

A few weeks to the presidential primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2022, Peter Obi cross-carpeted into Labour Party.
At Labour Party, Obi emerged as the presidential candidate and is currently running against PDP’s Atiku Abubakar, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwanso and many others.

Despite his new found popularity, Obi does not seem sure of his chance at winning the elections, he reveals what may happen if he does not win.
What Obi Says Will Happen To Nigerians
Obi believes that the presidential poll is an existential election, and he wants everyone to be part of it.
“If we get it wrong, nobody can tell what next will happen. In all I am doing, I will always wish Nigeria the best,” he stressed.
“I know you will, too and in doing that, I urge you to be part of the new Nigeria Datti, and I are fighting for.”
Obi stated this at a public presentation of the book, ‘Peter Obi: Many Voices, One Perspective’ in Abuja.
Also, he thanked the organisers of the book launch for believing in him and for choosing to be part of his efforts to see that a new Nigeria is possible.
He appealed to Nigerians to support him in turning Nigeria around by voting for him in the February 25 presidential election.
“We are committed to it; as I told all the supporters, we need people.
“We need all of you to support us, especially in these final days to reach the end of this phase.
“Nigeria has suffered a lot.
“This is a great country that can be turned around,” the former Anambra governor says with visible enthusiasm.
Furthermore, Obi noted that “we cannot succeed without your intervention, so as you launch this book, please be part of what we are doing to change Nigeria”.
