On-Air Personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, widely known as Do2dtun, has officially stepped away from radio after an illustrious 20-year career.
The beloved broadcaster shared the emotional news in a heartfelt Instagram post, which has since gained significant attention.
“20 years on radio, it is time to say goodbye. It is time to leave what I loved and would always love,” he wrote.
Also, he expressed both gratitude and nostalgia for the medium that made him a household name.
Reflecting on his journey, Do2dtun recounted his humble beginnings as an intern at Cool FM in Lagos.
Starting on November 1, 2004, he was mentored by radio legends like Daddy Freeze, the late Dan Foster, and Olisa Adibua.
Under their guidance, he honed his craft and rose to prominence, becoming one of Nigeria’s most iconic voices.
“This must be one of the hardest decisions I have made. I’m fulfilled in my heart that I built a legacy. Oh, my sweet home @coolfmlagos accepted me as an intern—dusty, unprepared, and knowing nothing about radio,” he shared.
Over the years, Do2dtun has become synonymous with energy, creativity, and innovation on the airwaves.
However, from hosting top-rated shows to interviewing global stars, his contributions to the Nigerian media landscape are immeasurable.
