The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike is currently receiving heavy criticism from Nigerians following the cash gifts he gave to Grammy award winner Burna Boy and other artistes as well as the land gift.
It would be recalled that Gov. Wike gifted the music star a land in Old GRA in Port Harcourt and some cash to facilitate the project for wining the Grammy award.

Wike also promised a cash reward of N10M each to all the artistes that performed at the Burna Boy’s homecoming concert.
This action of his has witnessed huge criticism and slam as people considers it as an irresponsible and insensitive act on the part of the Rivers State Government.
