You see, some times, it just appears like if people do not apply force in Nigeria, things do not work.
Now, we can say that the fear of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has become the beginning of compliance for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Unimaginably, after the NLC threatened to shutdown activities at all CBN offices nationwide for one week, the CBN suddenly remembered the notes it collected from Nigerians.
Now, we know that the CBN did not destroy all the notes it removed from the hands of Nigerians.
It says it found some some stocked up old notes that were yet to be destroyed.
Like a good boy, the CBN is making moves to put smile on the faces of Nigerians who visit ATM machines.
The apex bank says it has started releasing old notes of ₦200, ₦500 and ₦1000 denominations to commercial banks
Starting from Thursday, March 23, the CBN will disburse old notes to all commercial banks across Nigeria.
