‘Mr Yakubu’: See Why Falz Is Trending

The social media space is on fire, Falz Aka ‘The bad guy’ has dropped a new song. He features his colleague and rapper, Vector the viper.

Barely 5 hours after its release, the new song ‘Mr Yakubu’ has put Falz on top trend list.

It is because the song speaks of relevant issue that is of top priority to Nigerians.

Falz new song is specially made for the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu.

The activist, who’s real name is Folarin Falana, and his colleague, Vector, made a mockery of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, chairman, Yakubu, following the outcome of the February 25, 2023, presidential election.

The singers in the new song insinuated that Mahmood exhibited fraudulent behaviours during the just concluded general election.

In the lyrics of the song, Falz, and Vector also captured some of the excuses the electoral umpire gave on reasons the presidential election results were not uploaded in real-time on its portal.

Some docile attitude and irregularities on the part of security operatives during the election were also acted out in the music video.

The rapper shared the video of the new song via his Twitter page with the caption: “the matta longgg gan”
