The minimum wage meeting between the Organised Labour and President Bola Tinubu was on Thursday ended in a deadlock without a conclusive agreement.
For months now, the Organised Labour has been at loggerheads with the President Bola Tinubu led-government.
Basically, they are demanding an increase of the country’s minimum wage.
The battle for this new wage has been on for long, with no end in sight.
Protest upon protest, yet, Nigerians are do not know their fate, even as they face a high degree of hardship.

Now, the fresh negotiation called at the instance of Tinubu ended with no meaningful resolutions reached.
President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, while speaking with journalists after the meeting, said the positions of 250,000 naira for Labour and 62,000 naira for the Federal Government still stand.
Ajaero said their consultations with the Presidency will continue next week.
According to him, they will have to go back to their organs to relay what the President discussed with them.
